Takaoka Museum of Storehouse-lined Streets
Murozaki family moved in to this location in late 1860s, from their previous residence located across of this facility. They were the major textile wholesaler in Takaoka up untill 1945, and are a petroleum dealer today. After Murozaki family moved out of here, the city government restored the facility as the museum and opened it to public since 2002 April. Together with the commentaries of the history and design of Yamacho store houses on Yamachosuji street, it is something to see the Mikurumayama(float) related materials and models, which became the name of the town.
